First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association(FCSLA) Branch 23

Branch 23 is one of the two Milwaukee area branches of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. We are dedicated to our patron Our Lady of Lourdes. We are one of the oldest of the FCSLA branches, being established in 1895, just three years after the founding of the national organization. Today, we have over 600 members, and a junior order, Branch 130 which was established in 1911. FCSLA is a national fraternal benefit society that ranks among the top fraternal societies active in the United States today. FCSLA offers its members a variety of insurance products including term, various life plans and annuities at very competitive rates. Visit the FCSLA website at for more information about these products. The First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association is much more than an insurance company. As a fraternal society, FCSLA works through its branches to conduct a number of fraternal activates that engage its members in friendship and support the community.

Br. 23 is an active branch! This year, members are invited to participate in a variety of activities including an annual Family Bowling Party, Milwaukee Brewers Game and an elegant brunch at the Golden Mast Restaurant. We also participate in St. Ann' s Day with the Chicago and Indiana districts, Louise M. Yash District activities, Labor Day at Holy Hill, and volunteer at Slovak Day, and Holiday Folk Fair.

We are pleased to be able to donate to several organizations such as the Wisconsin Slovak Historical Society, Honor Flight, Tatra Slovak Dancers, Czech/Slovak Museum in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and more.
